Hutton Village Hall

10th Anniversary Celebrations

The committee of Hutton Village Hall held a special event on 17th September 2016 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the new village hall. Invitations were distributed amongst the community and those who attended the afternoon tea enjoyed the sunshine, delicious food and the company of good friends and neighbours. Jim Stobo, Trustee, thanked everyone for coming and gave tribute to the community and the committee in maintaining the village hall as a well-used and vital community facility. Some pictures taken at the event are shown below.

Mr Stobo also announced that to mark the event, the Hutton Village Hall Trust were donating a defibrillator to the village, which was later installed at the bus shelter in Hutton. Many thanks to Inkpen's Electricians in Berwick-upon-Tweed for fitting the case for the defibrillator in the bus shelter so promptly (the case was funded by Hutton & Paxton Community Council). Instruction classes on the use of the defibrillator were very kindly given free of charge by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
