Vintage Strawberry Tea Event - 2019
On 10th August 2019, a Vintage Strawberry Tea event was held in aid of Hall funds. A sum of £570 was raised.
It was a good turn out, with everyone enjoying their homemade scone and jam, complete with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. The cream tea was served on beautiful home made cake stands and the lovely old china teapots and cups and saucers completed the vintage feel of the event. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and, of course, everyone who helped make the event a success.
Hutton Open Garden Weekend 2017
In aid of Hutton, Fishwick and Paxton Church and Hutton Village Hall.
An open gardens weekend took place in Hutton on the 8th and 9th of July 2017. Around 15 gardens were open and there was a display by Hutton Stone, a photographic exhibition and displays of local crafts and textiles in Hutton Church. Hutton Village Hall hosted cake, craft and plant stalls, plus tombola, raffle and refreshments.
The Committee of Hutton Village Hall would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success. The sun shone (most of the time) and the gardens were beautiful. We were delighted to welcome so many visitors to our gardens, many of whom stayed to enjoy a cuppa and cake at the village hall. Thank you to all the volunteers, to everyone who opened their gardens and to everyone who visited or supported the event in other ways. The event raised a total of £2375.00 with the proceeds were shared between Hutton Village Hall and Hutton Church.
